Badanie nasienia – bakterie tlenowe i beztlenowe test PCR
550,00 zł
Metoda: RT-PCR
Termin realizacji: 2 – 7 dni roboczych
Materiał badany: nasienie
Opis
Badanie nasienia na obecność bakterii tlenowych i beztlenowych metodą PCR.
W zakres pakietu wchodzą:
- Chlamydia trachomatis
- Ureaplasma parvum / U. urealyticum
- Mycoplasma genitalium / M. hominis
- Trichomonas vaginalis
- Neisseria gonorrhoeae
- Gardnerella vaginalis
- Atopobium vaginae
- Bacteroides fragilis
- Megasphaera 1
- BV -associated bacteria 2
- Mobiluncus spp.
Infekcje nasienia mogą znacząco wpływać na płodność mężczyzn, m.in. poprzez:

Examined material: semen
PCR semen testing allows for the detection of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria that may affect semen quality, fertility, and the overall health of the male urogenital system.
The test includes detection of:
- Chlamydia trachomatis
- Ureaplasma parvum / U. urealyticum
- Mycoplasma genitalium / M. hominis
- Trichomonas vaginalis
- Neisseria gonorrhoeae
- Gardnerella vaginalis
- Atopobium vaginae
- Bacteroides fragilis
- Megasphaera 1
- BV‑associated bacteria 2
- Mobiluncus spp.
How semen infections can affect male fertility
- Blockage of seminal ducts: Infections may cause inflammation that obstructs the seminal pathways, preventing semen from being released during ejaculation (azoospermia) or leading to a low sperm count (oligospermia).
- Reduced sperm motility: Infections can impair sperm movement (asthenospermia), making it more difficult for sperm to reach and fertilize the egg.
- Abnormal sperm morphology: Certain infections may alter sperm structure (teratozoospermia), reducing their ability to fertilize the egg.
- Increased sperm DNA fragmentation: Infections can damage sperm DNA, which may hinder embryo implantation and healthy pregnancy development.
- Production of antisperm antibodies: Some infections trigger the formation of antibodies that reduce the chances of successful fertilization.
Why PCR testing is highly valuable
- Accuracy and sensitivity: PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) is extremely sensitive and can detect even very small amounts of bacterial genetic material.
- Fast results: PCR results are available much faster than traditional culture methods, which may require several days or even weeks.
- Broad diagnostic range: PCR can detect both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, making it highly effective in diagnosing infections of the male reproductive system.
- Precise identification: PCR accurately identifies the specific bacteria responsible for the infection, enabling targeted treatment and helping avoid unnecessary antibiotic use.
Sample delivery
You do not need to schedule an appointment. Simply deliver the semen sample to the laboratory between 08:00 and 16:00. Maintain sexual abstinence for 2 days before the test. Collect the semen sample into a sterile urine container.
